When starting the process it‘s important not to open any new accounts, get a new car, or spend any large amounts of money. These 3 items can cause you to no longer qualify for your home. It’s best to save, save, save until you receive keys in hand.

FHA
Requires 3.5% down
Conventional
Requires 3% - 20% down.

My offer was accepted, now what?
Escrow is Open.
You are required to place an EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) within in 3 days.
Inspections.
There are a number indpections but we hightly recommend a general home inspection is at your expense.
Appraisal
Determines the value of the home.
Loan
You will be required to submit documents to the mortgage broker to get fully approved.
Closing Day
Escrow will set the file up for recording with the County of San Diego; once we receive confirmation, we can exchange keys are you are officially a homeowner!
